PLEASE NOTE
The purpose of our BEGINNER'S SESSION is to BRING NEW PLAYERS INTO THE SPORT.
We expect Beginners to move into initial Team Training, with full Hockey Kit, at around 2 or 3 months from joining.
NEW PLAYERS WISHING TO STAY WITH OUR CLUB AND PLAY COMPETITIVE ROLLER HOCKEY MUST MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO OBTAIN FULL KIT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...
Where/When to come along...
Beginners sessions take place at- The John Wright Sports Centre Sessions are Fridays - 6.30pm to 7.30pm

Initially basic inline street skates. BRAKES MUST BE REMOVED. When you do buy new skates these should be specialist Hockey ones.
SAFETY HELMETThe sort available at any Sports or Toy store for cycling or skating will be fine to start.
PROTECTIVE KNEE AND ELBOW PADSAgain, the sort available at any Sports or Toy store for cycling or skating will do.
FLUID!WATER... in a sealed unbreakable bottle (no fizzy juice please -Too messy and does not rehydrate!)
We will supply the hockey sticks initially.
We prefer parents to stay & watch initially from the upstairs viewing gallery as this helps to build confidence in a young player.
What you MUST bring initially...
All Sports, especially Team Sports, are extremely valuable in a child’s development!
All Sports require absolute commitment and dedication!
FIFE SKATER HOCKEY ASSOCIATION (FSHA) is exceptionally well run by dedicated VOLUNTEERS who put in long hours for our children. Their success depends on team reliability. Team reliability depends on player and parental reliability!
